Do you have your own raw food?

Meat does not make its own brand of pet food. We supply many of the best available raw and lightly cooked brands.

Do you only sell meat (i.e. raw pet food) at Meat?

We definitely have a lot of meat, we also have a ton of other pet goods like toys, collars & leashes, grooming supplies and supplements.

Do you sell anything other than raw?

Yup! In addition to raw foods we carry a wide selection of lightly cooked, dehydrated, air dried, kibble and canned foods.

Do you have any already defrosted raw or cooked diets (ie refrigerated)?

All of our raw and lightly cooked foods are frozen, not refrigerated. Since they contain no artificial preservatives this keeps them the freshest before you feed them. We do have dehydrated, freeze dried, dry and canned food that can be fed right away.

Do you have any loyalty programs?

Many of our food brands offer frequent buyer credits. With enough purchases you can get a free bag of your dog or cat's favorite food. In addition to that Meat offers in store discounts on food, treats and chews. Ask us about them next time you're in.

Do you Sell any merch?

Want to rep Meat? We love that! We have several t-shirt designs, sweatshirts and other Meat branded goods at the shop.

Do you recommend trainers, groomers or pet sitters?

We recommend only positive reinforcement trainers, R+, vetted pet sitters and trusted vets. Next time you're in, ask one of our team to help direct you to some recommendations.

Returns?

We offer returns on most Meat goods with proof of purchase. We can present. We accept all food and supplement returns in their original packaging, UPC present , open or not, with the exception of opened canned food. Frozen food must be returned frozen. No returns after 30days of purchase. Return funds can be used for exchanges, store credit, or money back.

what is the best way to store kibble?

Store it in the bag it came in! Kibble bags are designed to keep dry food at its freshest. If using a container try to get one that can accommodate the dry food in its original bag. Bonus, if anything goes wrong you'll have identifiable info on the bag.

How should i handle raw food?

Raw is indeed raw. So treat it the same way you would for raw meat that you're cooking. Wash your hands after handling. Wash your pets bowls after feeding. Don’t leave raw food defrosted for more than 4 days in your fridge. For more info on how to safely handle raw check out our Raw 101 page.
